Heron and Kingfisher

School Closure

Update: 20th April 2020

So back to homelearning now as the Easter Holidays have come to a close. Mrs Leicester and I are still here if you need us so do contact us via the usual email address: office@st-margaretsifield.w-sussex.sch.uk.

How is the homeschooling going? Most of the tasks that are being provided now will be moving online. Keep in touch with the St Margaret's Facebook page for daily tasks. There will be a range of Maths, English, Reading, Spelling and Grammar work set. Please do ask if you need any support.

Answering telephone queries:

Having spoken to everyone on the phone, some of you have expressed worrying about working on maths at home. I would suggest reviewing work covered last time. First up, work on adding and subtracting fractions. Click on the links below to take you to some worksheets to use as practise:

Zoom Meetings

Both Heron and Kingfisher classes will have weekly meetings so we can all keep in touch. Email the office with your email address to get involved.

Mr Ferrito says...why not try to write a newspaper article about your first week of home schooling. Contact friends as journalist and interview them for the paper, finding out what they have been up to, how they are coping with home school etc. Next step, is to do a news show program on video and continue with the theme, getting friends involved in being reporters for the weekly news show.  Perhaps put it on the Facebook page.

We would love to see your work. Mrs Leicester, Mr Ferrito and I will keep updating this page.
